I think this is an astute analysis of creation of alternate reality by aspiring autocrats, cult leaders, or other sociopaths.

The question is, how do you fight it?

It will eventually run it's course once reality plays his cards, but how do you stop it before a lot of people die?

Thx, Bob. Greatly appreciate your readership and comments. I wish I had a silver bullet. I could write a comment longer than this post on ideas of what to do. Maybe I’ll do a future post. However, I don't plan on venturing too deep into the prediction biz. In my first Substack, “Are We There Yet?!” I mention a few simple things people can do. We're in the midst of democratic backsliding. How free and fair the midterm elections are (beyond even gerrymandering and voter suppression efforts, etc.) will be a significant indication of the methods available for change. At this juncture, Americans who may disagree on many policies but understand the threat to democracy need to work together. That could mean peacefully protesting, calmly addressing and discussing the blatant untruths, and getting involved in politics even at the local level. Humanizing people who are dehumanized is essential. Photographing and filming every encounter with ICE builds a vital record of injustice. The contrast between people non-violently resisting and the brutality is a significant visual. It's not easy to maintain. But that's the stage we’re in and the best approach at this time. The majority of Americans don't like what they're seeing. The more unpopular the administration gets, the more they will escalate their tactics. The hopeful desire is that as they do, more people will stand together and reject this push for autocracy.
